The failures have been recorded as well as those considered successful, so that the reader may come to a true understanding of the case and count on an impartial rendering. Nothing has been kept back, save when the message in the book-test has had three or even more points of contact, and some among these have been considered by the recipient as being of too private a nature to be published.
