History
The Western esoteric current attributed to Hermes Trismegistus (legendary, possibly synthesizing Greek and Egyptian wisdom of the 1st–3rd centuries CE). Through the Corpus Hermeticum, the Emerald Tablet, and Renaissance figures like Marsilio Ficino, it carries forward principles of correspondence, mentalism, and inner alchemy.
