Claudia Anne Irena Winkleman, born January 15, 1972, is a British broadcaster and writer. She has had a prominent career in television, co-presenting "Strictly Come Dancing" and hosting shows like "The Traitors." Her radio work includes hosting programs on BBC Radio 2. Winkleman began her career in journalism, writing for various publications before moving into broadcasting.

Winkleman's early life included education at City of London School for Girls and New Hall, Cambridge, where she studied art history. Her broadcasting career started with appearances on "Holiday" and "This Morning." She later hosted "Liquid News" and "Fame Academy" updates. Her extensive television work includes "Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two," "Hell's Kitchen," "The Great British Sewing Bee," and "The Piano."

Beyond her broadcasting roles, Winkleman has contributed to charities and was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2025 Birthday Honours for her services to broadcasting. She is married to film producer Kris Thykier and they have three children.
