Linga Purana

The term "Linga Purana" is derived from Sanskrit. "Linga" (लिङ्ग) refers to a symbol or emblem, often interpreted as a phallus representing generative power or an abstract form. "Purana" (पुराण) means "ancient" or "old," denoting a genre of Hindu literature comprising myths, legends, and theological teachings.
