Thomas Aquinas

Thomas Aquinas, an Italian Dominican friar and priest, was a profoundly influential theologian and philosopher whose work significantly shaped Catholic theology and Western philosophy. He is recognized as a key figure in natural theology and the founder of Thomism, a school of thought that integrates philosophy and theology. Aquinas sought to reconcile Aristotelian philosophy with Christian doctrine, proposing that God is the source of both natural reason and faith.
