Kenneth Crawford, professionally known as Montez Ford, was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 31, 1990. He spent time in both Chicago and North Carolina during his upbringing and served in the United States Marine Corps from 2008 to 2012, achieving a perfect score on the physical fitness test. Following his military service, Crawford transitioned to professional wrestling. He signed with WWE in 2015 and began training at their Performance Center.

Crawford, under the ring name Montez Ford, formed a successful tag team with Angelo Dawkins known as The Street Profits. Together, they have achieved multiple championships within WWE, including the NXT Tag Team Championship, the Raw Tag Team Championship, and the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Beyond his wrestling career, Ford has also explored music, releasing mixtapes and albums under the name King Tez. Additionally, he has ventured into reality television with a show alongside Bianca Belair.

Kenneth Crawford began his professional wrestling journey in 2015 when he signed a developmental contract with WWE. He made his in-ring debut in NXT and later formed a lasting partnership with Angelo Dawkins. As The Street Profits, they made their television debut in 2016 and officially formed as a tag team in 2017. Their success led them to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. The duo later moved to the Raw brand, capturing the Raw Tag Team Championship. They also achieved the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, becoming the second team to achieve the WWE Tag Team Triple Crown. Throughout their career, The Street Profits have engaged in numerous high-profile matches and feuds across different WWE brands, including appearances in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and various championship bouts at major events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam. They have also held the Evolve Tag Team Championship during a period of appearances in Evolve.

In addition to his wrestling career, Kenneth Crawford has pursued a path in music under the moniker King Tez. He released his debut mixtape, 'LMTYO,' in February 2022. This was followed by the announcement of his first album, 'SYAD,' in early 2023. In February 2024, Crawford released his first full-length album, 'God is Good,' which featured collaborations with A. J. Francis. Demonstrating a consistent output, he released another album on his birthday, May 31, 2024, titled 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEZ.'

Montez Ford's presence extends beyond the wrestling ring and music studio. In November 2023, it was announced that he and his wife, Bianca Belair, would star in their own reality television series titled 'Love & WWE: Bianca & Montez,' which premiered on Hulu. Ford also made his debut in the world of video games as a playable character in 'WWE 2K19,' and has since been featured in subsequent installments of the WWE video game franchise, including 'WWE 2K20.'
