Peter H. Marshall

Peter H. Marshall is an American writer and YouTube commentator who holds traditionalist Catholic beliefs. He was formerly an Episcopal priest before converting to Catholicism with his wife in 2006. Marshall has authored several books across theology, philosophy, and historical fiction. He is also the founder of the New Saint Thomas Institute, an online Catholic educational program.

Marshall is known for promoting various conspiracy theories, including one detailed in his book "Infiltration: The Plot to Destroy the Church from Within," which alleges a Freemasonic subversion of the Catholic hierarchy. He has also gained attention for his commentary on figures critical of the Vatican and for publicizing an incident involving the removal of indigenous statues during the Amazon Synod, an event he personally funded. His work often touches on themes of church-state relations and critiques of the Catholic hierarchy.

Born on March 29, 1978, Peter H. Marshall initially pursued a career in the Episcopal Church. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in philosophy in 2000. Following theological studies, he was ordained as an Episcopal priest in 2005. Shortly after, in 2006, Marshall and his wife converted to Catholicism.

Marshall continued his academic pursuits, earning Master's and Doctoral degrees in philosophy from the University of Dallas, with his doctoral work focusing on Thomas Aquinas. He has held academic and administrative positions, including at the College of Saints John Fisher & Thomas More and the Archdiocese of Washington's Catholic Information Center. He founded the New Saint Thomas Institute in 2013, an online educational program. Marshall has published extensively, with most of his books on theology, philosophy, and historical fiction being self-published through his company, Saint John Press and Media.

Marshall is recognized for his advocacy of traditionalist Catholicism and his vocal criticism of the Catholic hierarchy. He has promoted conspiracy theories, notably in his book "Infiltration," which posits a plot to undermine the Church.
