Ruth Kirk

Ruth Kirk, an American naturalist, passed away on April 19, 2018. She was the author of 37 books and also worked as a filmmaker. Alongside her husband, Louis Kirk, she created a nature documentary series for PBS titled 'Kirk's Camera.' Following this series, the couple produced twelve additional films. This collaboration continued until Louis Kirk's death in 1992. Kirk's extensive body of work focused on the natural world, documenting its various aspects through her writing and filmmaking.
