Paul McCusker

Paul McCusker, born in 1958, is an American author and producer recognized for his extensive work in radio drama and literature. He gained prominence through his contributions to "Adventures in Odyssey" and Focus on the Family's Radio Theatre. McCusker has authored over 50 books, penned 21 plays, and composed 4 musicals throughout his career.

His early writing began with sketches and plays for his church in Maryland. Moving to California in 1985, he transitioned to writing for touring drama groups before joining Focus on the Family in 1988. In addition to his involvement with "Adventures in Odyssey," he has developed and written numerous audio dramas, including adaptations of C.S. Lewis's works and other literary classics. McCusker's writing also extends to novels, with "The Mill House" and "Epiphany" being among his notable titles. He received a Peabody Award in 1997 for his production "Dietrich Bonhoeffer: The Cost of Freedom."

Currently residing in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with his wife Elizabeth and their two children, McCusker converted to Catholicism in 2007.
