A Shaded View on Fashion Film, or ASVOFF, is a festival dedicated to fashion film, established by journalist Diane Pernet. Its inaugural event took place in 2008 at the Jeu de Paume National Gallery in Paris, and it typically spans three days. The festival program includes feature films, documentaries, conferences, performances, and installations.

While Paris serves as the primary location for the annual festival, ASVOFF has also been hosted in other venues, including Nu Boyana Film Studios for one year. The festival actively participates in global fashion events and has been presented at prominent institutions such as the Bilbao Guggenheim museum, Milan's Palazzo Morando, and the New York Scope art fair. ASVOFF has received support from notable sponsors, including Italian Vogue, Bulgari, Kering, and Dom Perignon. Diane Pernet's background includes a degree in documentary filmmaking from Temple University and experience as a costume designer for directors like Amos Gitai, which informed her creation of the festival.
