Mark E. Rogers, born in 1952 and passing in 2014, was an American writer and artist. His literary career began during his high school years with the creation of a short novel titled 'The Runestone.' This work was later adapted into a film in 1990. Although 'The Runestone' remained largely unpublished, a limited edition chapbook was released in 1979. Rogers pursued his passion for writing at the University of Delaware, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
He established himself as a professional author, producing a diverse body of work. His published creations include the popular Samurai Cat series, several standalone novels such as 'The Dead,' 'Zorachus,' and its sequel 'The Nightmare of God.' He also authored the 'Blood of the Lamb' and 'Zancharthus' series. Beyond his fiction, Rogers released art portfolios and a collection of his pin-up paintings. He passed away in 2014 from heart failure while hiking.
