Schiedam (Dutch pronunciation: [sxiˈdɑm] ) is a town and municipality in the west of the Netherlands. It is located in the Rotterdam–The Hague metropolitan area, west of the city Rotterdam, east of the town Vlaardingen, and south of the city Delft.
