Gaelen Foley

Gaelen Foley, born November 6, 1973, is an American writer recognized for her numerous romance novels, frequently set in the Regency era. Since 2000, her works have consistently appeared on the USA Today bestseller list, and since 2008, on the New York Times bestseller list. Her books have achieved global success, translated into over 20 languages and selling millions of copies worldwide. In addition to her romance novels, Foley has also been self-publishing middle grade fantasy books under the pseudonym E.G. Foley since 2012. She holds a B.A. in English literature with a minor in philosophy from SUNY Fredonia. Before her publishing success, she worked various jobs while writing, eventually publishing her first romance novel, "The Pirate Prince," in 1998 with Random House. She has since written over 35 novels.
