Diane Hoh
Diane Hoh was an American author primarily known for her young adult horror novels, especially the Nightmare Hall series.
Diane Margot Eggleston Hoh was an American writer recognized for her contributions to young adult horror fiction. Born on April 28, 1937, she spent her formative years in Warren, Pennsylvania. Later in life, she resided in Austin, Texas, for 33 years before returning to her hometown of Warren, Pennsylvania, in 2021, where she remained until her passing.
Hoh gained particular recognition for her popular "Nightmare Hall" series and her contributions to the "Point Horror" collection of novels. These works catered to a young adult audience, exploring themes common in the horror genre. Her writing career established her as a notable figure within this literary space. Diane Hoh died on August 25, 2025, at the age of 88.
