Daniel Abrams, born May 20, 1966, is an American media entrepreneur, television host, and author with a background in law and broadcasting. He currently hosts "On Patrol: Live" on Reelz and "The Dan Abrams Show" on SiriusXM. Abrams also serves as Chief Legal Analyst for ABC News. His television career includes hosting "Live PD" and "Dan Abrams Live," among other programs focusing on legal matters and news.

Beyond his broadcasting work, Abrams has established several media businesses, including news sites like Mediaite and Law&Crime, and ventures in sports and entertainment media. He has authored multiple books, several of which delve into historical legal cases and propelled him to bestseller status. Abrams also has experience as a restaurant co-owner and vineyard proprietor. He holds a bachelor's degree from Duke University and a law degree from Columbia Law School.

Broadcasting and Legal Analysis

Daniel Abrams began his broadcasting career at Court TV, where he covered significant legal events such as the O. J. Simpson trial and the assisted-suicide trials of Dr. Jack Kevorkian. He transitioned to NBC News as a correspondent and later Chief Legal Correspondent, eventually hosting "The Abrams Report."
