Cora Taylor, born in Fort Qu'Appelle, Saskatchewan, on January 14, 1936, is a Canadian writer who relocated to Edmonton in 1955. Her literary career commenced with her role as editor of the Alberta Poetry Yearbook from 1980 to 1985. She subsequently contributed numerous articles and short stories to various Canadian publications. Taylor achieved significant recognition with the release of her debut novel, 'Julie', published by Coteau Books. Her subsequent novel, 'The Doll', featured cover art by her daughter, Wendy Mogg.
