Born in Germany in 1978, Felix Burrichter is a multifaceted creative professional with a background in architecture. After studying in Paris and earning a master's degree from Columbia University, he worked in New York before launching Pin-Up magazine in 2006. This biannual publication, subtitled "The Magazine for Architectural Entertainment," explores architecture, design, art, fashion, and politics with a broad scope.

Burrichter's career extends beyond publishing to curatorial practice. He has organized exhibitions at prominent institutions like the Haus der Kunst and the Swiss Institute, focusing on themes related to independent publishing, design, and domesticity. Burrichter's curatorial work includes exhibitions that examine the landscape of independent publishing, such as "Paper Weight – Genre-Defining Magazines 2000 to Now" at Haus der Kunst. He has also directed public art projects like "Superbenches" and exhibitions that explore contemporary living through a design lens, such as "Pavillon de l'Esprit Nouveau: A 21st Century Show Home" at the Swiss Institute.
