Chris Alexandria, originally known as Dawn Porter, is a British author, director, and television personality born in Alexandria, Scotland. After studying acting, she pivoted to television, presenting documentaries and series that often delved into social dynamics and personal choices. Her early television work included exploring dieting habits and later, more provocative topics such as polyamory, mail-order brides, geisha culture, and polygamy. Alexandria also produced television content through her company, Hot Patootie TV.
