Chevy Stevens

Chevy Stevens, born Rene Unischewski in 1973, is a Canadian author known for her suspenseful thriller novels. She currently resides on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. Before her writing career took off, Stevens worked as a real estate agent. It was during this time that she conceived the idea for her debut novel, "Still Missing." The plot of this book centers on a real estate agent who is abducted while hosting an open house.

"Still Missing" achieved significant success, becoming a New York Times bestseller and earning the International Thriller Writers Award for Best First Novel in 2011. Her bibliography includes several other titles published by St. Martin's Press, such as "Never Knowing," "Always Watching," "That Night," "Those Girls," "Never Let You Go," and "Dark Roads." She has also contributed a short story titled "The Other Side."
