Bernardo Kastrup

Jacobo Fitz-James Stuart y Martínez de Irujo, known as Jacobo Siruela, was born in Madrid in 1954 into a prominent Spanish aristocratic family. After studying Philosophy and Literature, he began a career in publishing. In 1980, he was granted the title Count of Siruela. He founded Ediciones Siruela in 1982, which became known for publishing Arthurian cycle novels and a collection of fantastic literature. He also launched the interdisciplinary cultural magazine 'El Paseante'.

In 2005, Siruela co-founded Ediciones Atalanta with his wife, Inka Martí. This publishing house focuses on four collections: Ars Brevis, Memoria Mundi, Imaginatio Vera, and Liber Naturae, featuring a wide range of authors from classics to contemporary thinkers, with a significant emphasis on philosophy, esoteric traditions, and the mystical. His own literary work includes essays and anthologies on topics such as the world of dreams, decadence, and the fantastic. He has received several awards for his contributions to publishing and culture.
