Belgian actor Ronny Coutteure was also an author, restaurateur, and supporter of northern French culture.

Ronny Coutteure, born in 1951 and passing in 2000, was a multifaceted Belgian artist known for his work across various performance mediums including cinema, radio, television, opera, and theatre. While a recognized figure in Belgium and France, he gained international recognition for his role as Remy Baudouin in "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles."

Beyond his acting career, Coutteure was deeply involved in the cultural landscape of northern France. He owned and operated a "pub-theatre" named La ferme des hirondelles and authored an opera titled "Les Contes d'un buveur de bière." His engagement extended to teaching "biérologie" (beer-ology), reflecting a dedication to the region's heritage and identity. Coutteure's life concluded tragically in 2000 when he died by suicide at his establishment.

Ronny Coutteure's artistic endeavors spanned a wide range of disciplines. In theatre, he not only performed but also directed numerous productions. His presence extended to radio and television, where he hosted a daily show called "Écouteuses, écouteurs, écoutez" on Radio Fréquence Nord in 1998. From 1998 to 2000, he presented the TV show "Ronny coup de cœur" on France 3 Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie. The cancellation of this show shortly before his death was a significant event.
