Amy Weintraub

Andrew Benoit is an American sportswriter recognized for his coverage of the National Football League. Before his career in sports journalism, Benoit served as an assistant to LA Rams head coach Sean McVay, handling special projects between 2021 and 2023. He joined The 33rd Team website in June 2023. His earlier career included writing for prominent sports outlets such as Sports Illustrated, where he also contributed to its NFL section, The MMQB, and co-hosted The MMQB NFL Podcast. Benoit's writing has also appeared on CBSSports.com, The New York Times, Football Outsiders, USA Today, and Sports Network.

Benoit is the author of "Andy Benoit's Touchdown: Everything You Need to Know about the NFL This Year" and co-authored the "Football Outsiders Almanac 2013." He has been a recurring presence on NFL Films' "Top 10 Shows" since 2010 and frequently appears on television and radio programs for networks including ESPN, ABC, and CBS. He also co-founded NFLTouchdown.com. Benoit graduated from The College of Idaho and resides in Boise, Idaho. He began writing about football at age 14 and was nicknamed "The NFL Kid" by the Idaho Statesman.
