Finn Wolfhard, born December 23, 2002, is a Canadian actor, musician, and filmmaker. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Mike Wheeler in the Netflix series 'Stranger Things.' His acting career began with smaller roles in music videos and television before his breakthrough. Wolfhard has also appeared in major film franchises, including 'It' and 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife.'

Beyond acting, Wolfhard has ventured into directing, helming the short film 'Night Shifts' and the feature 'Hell of a Summer.' Musically, he was the lead singer and guitarist for the band Calpurnia and is currently a member of The Aubreys. He has also been involved in advocacy, supporting causes related to autism and indigenous children, and has spoken about his personal experiences with anxiety.

Finn Wolfhard's acting career launched with a role in a music video in 2012, followed by television appearances on 'The 100' and 'Supernatural.' Wolfhard's musical journey began as the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Vancouver-based rock band Calpurnia, which disbanded in 2019. Shortly after, he formed a new band, The Aubreys, with former Calpurnia drummer Malcolm Craig. The Aubreys debuted their music on the soundtrack for the film 'The Turning,' which Wolfhard also starred in. The band has since released several singles and EPs, including 'Soda & Pie' and their debut studio album 'Karaoke Alone.' Wolfhard also released his own solo album, 'Happy Birthday,' and has stated intentions to focus more on music after 'Stranger Things' concludes.

Born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Wolfhard has spoken openly about his struggles with anxiety and panic attacks, which intensified with the pressures of fame. He has sought therapy and advocates for mental health awareness. In terms of advocacy, he has supported causes for autism and indigenous children, hosting benefit concerts and donating to humanitarian efforts, including those affected by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Wolfhard describes his religious stance as agnostic and has expressed a personal admiration for Pope Leo XIV.
