Alison Rich is an American actress, writer, and director who has built a career across television and film. Raised in Port Washington, New York, she pursued higher education at Harvard University before honing her comedic skills at the UCB Theatre in New York. Her professional journey began with a writing position on Saturday Night Live in 2014, followed by writing credits for shows like Billy on the Street. She has also appeared on numerous television programs, including Best Week Ever, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Drunk History, Tuca & Bertie, Angie Tribeca, and 2 Broke Girls.
Rich was a main cast member of the sketch comedy series Party Over Here and Rob Riggle's Ski Master Academy. She has held recurring roles on Resident Advisors and The Other Two. Since 2017, she has been a supporting cast member and writer for The Goldbergs. In addition to her television work, Rich has gained recognition for her short films. She wrote, starred in, and directed her debut short, The Other Morgan, which premiered at SXSW in 2021. Her subsequent short films, Training Wheels and Pathological, have been featured at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022 and 2024, respectively.
