Marques Houston is an American R&B artist known for his music career, acting roles, and transition into film production.
Marques Houston, born August 4, 1981, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. He began his career in music in 1990 as a founding member of the R&B group Immature, later known as IMx. The group achieved popularity in the mid-1990s, releasing several albums and participating in film soundtracks. Houston also found early success as an actor, notably portraying Roger Evans in the popular teen sitcom *Sister, Sister* from 1994 to 1999.
Transitioning to a solo career in 2003, Houston released his debut album *MH*, followed by *Naked* in 2005 and *Veteran* in 2007, the latter reaching number one on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. He continued releasing music with albums such as *Mr. Houston* (2009), *Mattress Music* (2010), and *Famous* (2013), before releasing *Me* in 2022.
