Stephen T Chang

Emily Chang is an American journalist, author, and television host recognized for her extensive work covering the technology industry. Born in Hawaii to Taiwanese American parents, she pursued higher education at Harvard University. Her career began in news production and reporting, including roles at NBC and CNN, where she covered significant international events from bases in Beijing and London.

Chang later transitioned to Bloomberg Television, where she anchored "Bloomberg West," later renamed "Bloomberg Technology," for over a decade. During this time, she interviewed numerous prominent figures in tech and business. She is also the author of "Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys' Club of Silicon Valley," a book examining gender inequality in the tech sector, which became a national bestseller.
