Evaleen Stein (October 12, 1863 – December 11, 1923) was an American writer and poet as well as a limner. She was the author of eleven volumes of stories and three books of verse. In addition, she translated two volumes of poetry, one from the Japanese (When Fairies Were Friendly) and another from Italian.
