Joyce Jillson, born Joyce Linda Twitchell, was an American figure active in entertainment and popular media. She began her career in New York City, attending Boston University on an opera scholarship, and later performed on Broadway. Her acting credits include appearances in television, such as the series 'Peyton Place,' and various films, including the cult spoof 'Superchick.'

Jillson also established a career as a writer and astrologer. She authored several books on topics like relationships and luck, with some works published posthumously. Her involvement with astrology extended to providing horoscope reports and serving as the official astrologer for Twentieth Century Fox Studios. She passed away at the age of 58 due to kidney failure.

Two of her final manuscripts, 'Astrology for Dogs' and 'Astrology for Cats,' were released after her death.
