Lillian Too

Lillian Too, a Malaysian author, television personality, and feng shui expert, has authored over 200 books on feng shui, which have been translated into numerous languages and sold millions of copies worldwide. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and has a notable career in the corporate sector, including being the first woman in Malaysia to head a public listed company and the first woman in Asia to be appointed CEO of a bank. After her corporate career, she founded World of Feng Shui (WOFS.com), a successful international merchandising and franchising company, and also publishes Feng Shui World magazine. Too has established an institute for feng shui certification and has been featured in television programs and advertisements. Her engagement with Tibetan Buddhism began in 1997, leading her to become involved with the FPMT network and its dharma centers.

Her literary contributions include numerous titles on feng shui and related topics, with "The Complete Illustrated Guide to Feng Shui" achieving significant sales figures. Beyond her feng shui work, Too has explored themes of self-discovery and spiritual practice in her writing, including "The Buddha Book" which details her experiences with Tibetan Buddhism. She has also co-authored works on Chinese astrology and the I Ching. Lillian Too's influence extends through her global business presence, educational initiatives, and media appearances, solidifying her position as a prominent figure in the field of feng shui and holistic living.

Lillian Too is widely recognized for her extensive work in feng shui, having published over 200 books on the subject that have achieved global distribution and translation. She also heads the Lillian Too Certified Consultants Institute, which provides training and certification in feng shui practices. Her media presence includes television programs like "The Lillian Too Show" and appearances in advertisements, further popularizing feng shui concepts.

Before her extensive career in feng shui, Lillian Too had a distinguished career in the corporate world. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1976. Her professional achievements include becoming the first woman in Malaysia to lead a public listed company and, in 1982, the first woman in Asia appointed as CEO of a bank, specifically Hong Kong's Dao Heng bank. Following her banking career, she held a significant executive role with Hong Kong tycoon Dickson Poon. She is married and has a daughter, Jennifer Too.

In 1997, Lillian Too encountered Tibetan lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche in Bodhgaya, where she took refuge. Her experiences and explorations within Tibetan Buddhism are detailed in her book, "The Buddha Book." This work also recommends various practices associated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), a global network of dharma centers co-founded by Zopa. Too has actively participated in this spiritual community, previously serving as president and center director for the FPMT's Losang Drakpa Centre in Selangor, Malaysia.
