Evelyn Lip

Evelyn Lip, born in 1938, is a Malaysian scholar and consultant recognized for her extensive work in architecture and Feng Shui. She holds advanced degrees in Architecture, including a PhD, and also pursued studies in Chinese Brush Painting. Lip dedicated 31 years of her career as a lecturer in Architecture at the National University of Singapore, retiring at age 60. Her academic and professional focus has been on Chinese architecture, with a particular emphasis on applying the principles of geomancy to her practice.

Throughout her career, Lip has authored a significant number of books, reportedly fifty-eight, covering topics such as architecture, Chinese geomancy (Feng Shui), and children's literature.
