Coralee Allen

Palmerstown, U.S.A. was a television drama that aired on CBS from March 1980 to June 1981. The series, co-created by Norman Lear and Alex Haley, was inspired by Haley's own upbringing.

It depicted the friendship between two nine-year-old boys, one black and one white, in a rural Southern town during the Great Depression. The narrative explored their bond as they navigated life in Palmerstown. The show featured a cast including Jonelle Allen, Bill Duke, and Michael J. Fox, among others. Janice St. John played the character Coralee Hall within this ensemble.
