Ching Feng Shui

Lillian Too was a prominent Malaysian figure recognized for her extensive work in feng shui. With an MBA from Harvard Business School, she began a successful career in finance, becoming the first woman to lead a public company in Malaysia and later the first woman CEO of a bank in Asia. After retiring from the corporate world, Too established 'World of Feng Shui' (WOFS.com), a global merchandising and franchising company. She authored over 200 books on feng shui, which have been translated into numerous languages and sold millions of copies worldwide. Too also founded a feng shui certification institute and hosted television programs focused on the practice. Her engagement with Tibetan Buddhism led her to take refuge with Lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche and become involved with the FPMT network.

Following her extensive career in banking and corporate leadership, Lillian Too transitioned to dedicating her efforts to feng shui. She founded World of Feng Shui (WOFS.com), a company specializing in feng shui products and franchising, which expanded internationally with stores across Asia, Europe, and North America. Too was also the publisher of Feng Shui World magazine and established the Lillian Too Certified Consultants Institute to offer correspondence courses and certifications in feng shui. Her work in popularizing feng shui included a roadshow and a television series, 'The Lillian Too Show,' which explored various aspects of daily life through the lens of feng shui principles. She appeared in advertisements and her television programs sometimes featured her daughter, Jennifer Too.

Lillian Too authored a vast body of work, with over 200 books dedicated to feng shui and related topics. Her publications have achieved significant global reach, with translations in over 30 languages and worldwide sales exceeding six million copies. 'The Complete Illustrated Guide to Feng Shui' is noted for its high sales figures for a color hardcover book. Her other books have frequently appeared on bestseller lists in countries such as the United States, Singapore, and Germany. Beyond feng shui, she also explored themes of personal growth and spirituality in works like 'Discover Yourself' and 'The Buddha Book,' the latter detailing her experiences with Tibetan Buddhism.

In 1997, Lillian Too encountered Tibetan lama Thubten Zopa Rinpoche and formally took refuge with him, indicating a significant step in her spiritual journey. Her book, 'The Buddha Book,' elaborates on her engagement with Tibetan Buddhism and suggests practices associated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT), a network of dharma centers. Too also served as the former president and center director for the FPMT's Losang Drakpa Centre in Selangor, Malaysia, demonstrating an active role in the organization.
