Role in the Princess Grace Irish Library

Following the passing of Princess Grace in 1983, C. George Sandulescu was instrumental in the founding of the library that bears her name in Monaco. He organized significant international conferences at the library, focusing on the works of prominent Irish writers. These events included conferences dedicated to James Joyce (1985 and 1990), William Butler Yeats (1987), Samuel Beckett (1991), and Oscar Wilde (1993). In collaboration with writer Anthony Burgess, and at the invitation of Prince Rainier III, Sandulescu co-founded the Princess Grace Irish Library. The library's core mission was to publish literary criticism through a series of publications produced by Colin Smythe Ltd., with over 25 volumes released between 1985 and 1997.
