Avraham Yaakov Finkel

Born in Basel, Switzerland, in 1926, Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Finkel later resided in The Hague before being sent to Bergen-Belsen by the Nazis in 1942. He ultimately settled in Brooklyn, New York, where he passed away on June 26, 2016. Rabbi Finkel established himself as a significant voice in English-language Judaica literature through his extensive writing.

His literary output includes nineteen books, many of which delve into foundational aspects of Jewish thought and practice.
