Anthony Campbell

Lady Colin Campbell, born Georgia Arianna Ziadie in Jamaica in 1949, is a British Jamaican author, socialite, and television personality. She gained prominence for her unauthorized biographies of members of the British royal family, including Diana, Princess of Wales, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Her book on Diana was a bestseller in 1992. Campbell's early life involved being raised as a boy due to a congenital genital malformation, a situation she later underwent corrective surgery for and legally changed her name. She also married Lord Colin Campbell, though the marriage was brief and ended amidst scandal. Beyond her writing, Campbell has been a fixture on reality television, participating in shows like 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!' and 'Celebs Go Dating,' often stating she enjoys the recognition. She is also the châtelaine of Castle Goring, a property she purchased and sought to renovate partly through television appearances.

Born George William Ziadie in Jamaica on August 17, 1949, to a wealthy department store owner, Campbell was assigned male at birth due to a genital malformation. Following medical advice of the time, she was raised as a boy. Her family, of Lebanese descent, was prominent in Jamaica. Campbell moved to New York City to study at the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked as a model. In 1970, she underwent corrective surgery for her congenital condition, funded by her grandmother. Subsequently, she legally changed her name to Georgia Arianna Ziadie and received a new birth certificate. While in the United States, she met and married Lord Colin Ivar Campbell, but the marriage dissolved quickly after 15 months due to a scandal related to her birth characteristics.

Her 1992 book, 'Diana in Private: The Princess Nobody Knows,' revealed details about Princess Diana's struggles and relationships, appearing on The New York Times Best Seller list.
