Prior to his career as an adventure travel writer, Richard Meredith worked as a national newspaper journalist and a publisher of business magazines. He established Holcot Press Group after launching the Northants Post weekly newspaper. His writing career took off in 2002 with his first novel, "One Way or Another," inspired by a global trip. He followed this with "Which Way Next," detailing a perilous drive through Afghanistan and the Khyber Pass. Meredith is also a member of the Society of Authors and has published "Views From the Front Line," a collection of his writing experiences, and local history works. He has also engaged in teaching and university lecturing.
