Lando Calrissian (; kal-RISS-ee-ən) is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise. He was introduced in the original trilogy film The Empire Strikes Back (1980) as the administrator of Cloud City. In the film, he reluctantly betrays his friend Han Solo to Darth Vader, but later helps Han's friends escape from the Galactic Empire. In Return of the Jedi (1983), Lando helps rescue Han from Jabba the Hutt, and later becomes a general in the Rebel Alliance. The standalone film Solo: A Star Wars…
